The short answer to the most common question
This is strictly offline event entertainment. There is no real-money gambling, no betting, no cash prizes, and no online casino service.
18+ | Offline event entertainment | No real-money gambling | No betting | No cash prizes | No online casino
Part 01
The format
Is this gambling?
No. Guests play with symbolic chips that we issue free and collect at the end of the night. Chips cannot be bought, topped up, exchanged or redeemed for money, goods, services or credit, and they carry no denomination. There is no betting, no wagering of real money, no cash prize and no online casino service. Everything happens offline, in one room, for a fixed number of hours.
What exactly is a symbolic chip?
A scorekeeping token. Every adult guest receives an identical allocation at the door, uses it to keep score during play, and hands it back at the end. The stacks are counted only to produce a leaderboard. Branded chips may carry your logo or event name, never a number, a value or a currency symbol.
Do you supply slot machines?
No. We do not hire out, transport or operate slot machines, slots, pokies, poker machines or any coin-operated amusement machines. Every format we run is built around croupier-hosted tables: roulette, blackjack and poker-themed. If a venue or agency specifically needs slot machines, we are not the right supplier.
Are there prizes?
Never anything monetary. Many clients present non-cash keepsakes to the top of the leaderboard - a trophy, a bottle, a hamper, a framed photograph, an extra day off. Those are supplied or funded by the client. We do not award, administer or hold cash prizes of any kind.
What games can we have?
Roulette, blackjack and poker-themed tables. Roulette is the easiest for a mixed room because there is nothing to learn. Blackjack is the fastest to teach and the most sociable. A poker-themed table suits groups who already know each other. Tell us the guest list and we will suggest a combination.
How long does an event run?
Up to 4 hours of play, plus 45 to 90 minutes of set-up before doors and 30 to 60 minutes of strike afterwards. Shorter is often better: three hours of play suits most corporate evenings.
Part 02
Guests and venues
How many guests can you handle?
Up to 120 guests on a single floor plan. Below roughly 25 guests one table and one croupier is usually right. Above 70 we plan table rotation with a floor host so that nobody is left waiting.
Can anyone under 18 attend?
No. Our events are for adults only, 18+, and age is checked at the door. We will not run tables at an event where minors are present, and we do not market to anyone under that age. If your function includes families, we will help you plan a separate adults-only window instead.
What kind of venue do you need?
Almost anything with a door and a floor: offices, hotel function rooms, galleries, lofts, clubs, barns, private homes. Each table needs roughly 3.0 m by 2.4 m including standing room, one standard power outlet for lighting, and a carry route we have been told about in advance.
Can you work in a private home?
Yes, and we often do. Tables come apart for staircases and lifts, every leg carries a felt pad, and we plan the carry with you beforehand. Private celebrations are usually one or two tables for 12 to 60 adult guests.
Do you serve food or alcohol?
No. Catering, bar and any alcohol licence stay with your venue or caterer. We will build our running order around their service times, and our evening manager will liaise with them directly on the night.
Which parts of Canada do you cover?
We work across Canada from our base in Quebec. Travel beyond the immediate region is included in your quote as a single figure, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Part 03
Booking, pricing and paperwork
What does it cost?
We do not publish rates. Pricing depends on event size, venue and chosen format, including travel, crew numbers, hours on site, table count and any styling or branding. Send an enquiry and you will receive an itemised written quote, usually within one business day.
Why will you not give me a ballpark figure on the phone?
We will, once we know the room. A ground-floor hall with parking at the door and a ninth-floor venue with one freight lift and a two-hour access window are different jobs. Fifteen minutes on the phone gets you a figure you can rely on rather than one we have to revise.
How far ahead should we book?
Two weeks is comfortable for table hire and one week is often possible. Full production needs six to eight weeks, and longer if you want branded chips, which take four to six weeks from artwork approval. Fridays from September and the whole of November and December book out first.
What happens if we cancel or postpone?
Cancellation and postponement terms are set out in your scope of work and in our Terms and Conditions before anything is paid. We will always try to move a date rather than keep a deposit for a cancelled one.
Can you provide documents for our compliance or procurement team?
Yes. We routinely supply a written description of the format confirming that no money is staked and nothing of value is won, along with insurance details, supplier forms and method statements where a venue requires them. Ask at enquiry stage and it will be ready before you need it.
Do you work white label for agencies?
Yes. We will work to your run sheet, attend your production meetings, wear unbranded or client-branded uniform, keep our name off everything and deal with your client only if you ask us to. A good share of our production work arrives this way.
Part 04
Responsibility and privacy
Is a casino-themed event appropriate for everyone?
No, and we say so. Anyone who has experienced gambling-related harm may find a casino-themed setting uncomfortable even with no money involved, and we would rather you planned around that than discovered it on the night. Our Responsible Entertainment notice explains this, and we are happy to suggest alternative formats.
How do you handle a guest who has had too much to drink?
Every crew member is briefed on stepping a guest away from a table quietly and handing the situation to the evening manager, who will speak to your organiser and the venue. We do not make a scene and we do not leave it to your staff to manage.
What do you do with the details I send through the form?
We use them only to answer your enquiry: name, phone number, event type, date and anything you choose to add. We do not sell data and we do not add enquirers to a marketing list without asking. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy, which follows Canada’s PIPEDA.
Does this website track me?
Not until you allow it. Analytics and advertising cookies are set to denied by default under Google Consent Mode v2, nothing optional is stored before you choose, and declining is exactly as easy as accepting. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the "Change cookie settings" link in the footer.
Will you publish photographs of our event?
Only with written permission. By default we publish nothing that identifies a client or a guest - no names, no logos, no faces. Several of our best evenings appear nowhere on this site for exactly that reason.
