Corporate casino evenings that a finance team can sign off

- Up to 4 hours on site
- 2–6 hosted tables
- 18+ employees and invited guests
Who it suits
For the function where nobody wants another plated dinner and a slideshow
This is the format most of our corporate clients choose. It works for year-end and holiday functions, client appreciation evenings, conference after-hours, sales kick-offs, long-service recognitions and office relocations. It is particularly useful for mixed rooms — several departments, a few visiting executives, some partners and spouses — where a formal programme falls flat and an open bar alone is not enough.
The social mechanics do the work. A croupier can teach a table of eight in under two minutes, which means the vice-president and the summer student end up on the same footing. Because chips are symbolic and identical for everyone, there is no status in the stack and no sting in losing it.
We work across Canada and are used to corporate procurement: a written quote, a scope of work, certificates on request, a named evening manager and a crew that arrives when it says it will.

How the evening runs
A corporate run sheet, not an improvised party
Your evening manager works to this sequence and keeps your organiser informed at every marker.
-
Step 01
Brief and floor plan
We confirm headcount, room dimensions, power, load-in route and the one thing you want guests talking about afterwards. You receive a floor plan and a run sheet to circulate internally.
-
Step 02
Load-in, 45 to 90 minutes before doors
Tables are carried in, levelled and dressed, lighting is set and the crew briefs your venue contact. The room is finished before the first guest sees it.
-
Step 03
Welcome and chip issue
Age is checked at the door. Every guest receives the same symbolic chip allocation, with a one-line explanation that chips are scorekeeping only and cannot be bought, topped up or exchanged.
-
Step 04
Teaching rounds, then open play
Croupiers run explained hands for the first half hour so beginners are comfortable, then tables open up and the floor host rotates guests so nobody is left waiting.
-
Step 05
Count, leaderboard, presentation
In the final twenty minutes chips are counted and a leaderboard is read out. Your chosen non-cash keepsakes are presented — a trophy, a hamper, an extra day off. Never money.
-
Step 06
Strike and sign-off
Kit is struck, the room is returned as found and your manager signs off with the evening manager before the crew leaves.
“Our year-end function had three departments who barely speak to each other. Two hours in, people were swapping tables and coaching each other through the rules. The chip explanation at the door also saved us a conversation with compliance.”
“Punctual, discreet, properly dressed, and they handled a freight-lift failure without involving us. We have booked them again for the client evening.”
Safe by design
Why this is a safe entertainment format for an employer
A corporate event has to be defensible as well as enjoyable. Ours is built so that there is nothing to defend: no stake, no prize fund, no money changing hands in any direction, nothing for an employee to lose and nothing to chase.
Chips exist only inside the four hours of your event. They are issued free and identically, counted at the end, and collected by our crew. They cannot be purchased, topped up, cashed out, carried home or exchanged for anything of value, and there is no second venue, website or app where play continues.
Compliance summary
This is strictly offline event entertainment. There is no real-money gambling, no betting, no cash prizes, and no online casino service.
